چکیده
Abstract Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are widely present in different species and play critical roles response to abiotic stresses. However, the functions of lncRNAs Chinese cabbage under heat stress remain unknown. Here, we first conducted a global comparative analysis 247,242 among 37 species. The results indicated that were poorly conserved species, only 960 homologous 524 miRNA precursors. We then carried out lncRNA sequencing for genome-wide their target genes at stages treatment. In total, 18,253 identified, which 1229 differentially expressed (DE) characterized as being heat-responsive. ceRNA network revealed 38 lncRNAs, 16 miRNAs, 167 mRNAs involved cabbage. Combined cis - trans -regulated targets DE significantly enriched “protein processing endoplasmic reticulum” “plant hormone signal transduction” pathways. Furthermore, majority HSP PYL these two pathways exhibited similar expression patterns responded rapidly. Based on networks lncRNA-mRNAs, 29 22 found interact with genes, respectively. Finally, several was verified by qRT-PCR. Overall, performed comprehensive Our findings expand knowledge cabbage, identified provide an abundance resources future functional studies.

Long Noncoding RNAs in Aging
Aging is associated with increasing the risk of disease and death. Recently, increasing evidences suggest that many long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) function through specific interactions with other cellular factors, namely proteins, DNA, and other RNA molecules. LncRNAs play important roles in a wide range of age-related diseases, such as cancer, cardiovascular pathologies, and neurodegenerative ...
متن کاملLong noncoding RNAs in hematopoiesis
Mammalian development is under tight control to ensure precise gene expression. Recent studies reveal a new layer of regulation of gene expression mediated by long noncoding RNAs. These transcripts are longer than 200nt that do not have functional protein coding capacity. Interestingly, many of these long noncoding RNAs are expressed with high specificity in different types of cells, tissues, a...

In this issue of Blood, Alvarez-Dominguez et al use a combination of genomics technology, bioinformatics, and functional analyses to provide new insights into our understanding of the role of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) in erythropoiesis.1 This is an initial step forward in our understanding of the many roles of lncRNAs in normal and perturbed erythropoiesis. lncRNAs have recently emerged as ...
متن کاملLong Noncoding RNAs
Ma Recent studies suggest that the majority of the human genome is transcribed, but only about 2% accounts for proteincoding exons. Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) constitute a heterogenic class of RNAs that includes, for example, intergenic lncRNAs, antisense transcripts, and enhancer RNAs. Moreover, alternative splicing can lead to the formation of circular RNAs. In support of putative function...
